AloneI can feel it again,
That slow shadow creeping upon me.
I find it hard to breath,
Hard to even move some days,
To get out of my pit of slumber.

It makes me feel so alone.

You look at me with those teary eyes,
Begging me to tell you what's wrong,
But I can't.
I can't let you know that the monster is coming back,
That each day I feel myself slipping further away from reality.

It makes me feel so alone.

People start to ask me if I'm okay,
Around others I can put on my happy face,
But no around you.
The fake smiles and laughter can only last so long,
They make the darker moments become more bleak.
